A 25,000 watt renewable energy solar photovoltaic array adorns the crown of the new 30,000 square foot headquarter offices and renovated training center for the Angeles National Forest. This LEED Certified building features energy efficient lighting systems and controls and is backed up by a 150 kilowatt emergency power generator. In addition to sophisticated security and fire alarm systems, it has a unique security access control system for all doors and gates. As the control communications hub for Angeles National Forest, it is also equipped with a radio tower and redundant communications systems.
