Chamber elects 2010 Board of Directors

Nine local business leaders join 11 members on the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Board of Directors after the nonprofit’s first ever online election. Those elected will serve two-year terms.
Chamber members voted for the board in the nonprofit’s first ever online election. Joining the board are Russ Levanway, CEO of TekTegrity, a local IT strategies and management company; Bruce Ray, president and publisher of The Tribune; Missy Reitner-Cameron, creative director and principal of iii Design, a local professional design studio; Rick Stollmeyer, CEO and founder of Mindbody, a national leader in business management software for the wellness industry; and Brian Talley, president of Talley Vineyards and Talley Farms;
Current board members who were re-elected are Clint Pearce, real estate manager at Madonna Enterprises; Charlene Rosales, Chief Operating Officer of United Way of San Luis Obispo County; Kristen Yetter, president of Promega Biosciences, a leading biotech company; and Ron Yukelson, associate director of the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center.
The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce is the oldest and largest voluntary organization in the county and celebrated its centennial year in 2004. The Chamber has more than 1,400 members, many of whom serve on committees that study issues, recommend actions, or offer help to San Luis Obispo’s diverse business community.
The newly elected members join the following continuing members to make up the 2010 Board of Directors: Tim Billing, Embassy Suites; John Ewan, Pacific Energy Co.; Michael Gunther, Collaboration LLC.; Tom Lebens, Sinsheimer Juhnke Lebens & McIvor, LLP; Kathi Main, Kevin Main Jewelry; Jeanne Potter, Glenn Burdette Phillips & Bryson; Anita Robinson, Mission Community Bank; Ali Semon, Frame Works; Bob Stets, Cal Poly; Bill Thoma, Thoma Electric; and Patricia Wilmore, PG&E.
